Create lasting memories with your baby’s hand and footprints, painted onto pottery using dark colours for clear prints.

Clay Baby Prints
Clay Imprints: Choose from two options:
Single Print (Hand or Foot) – Clay or Cast: £65.00
Double Print (Hand and Foot) – Clay or Cast: £85.00

Your baby's hand or foot is gently pressed into rolled-out earthenware clay. Mandy takes two sets of prints, as clay may occasionally crack during firing. In the unlikely event both prints crack, we'll redo them at no extra cost. If both prints fire successfully, you can purchase a second clay print for £35.00 when you collect the first. Mandy shapes the clay into either a round or square shape. After drying for 14 days, it's prepared for the first firing. Once fired, it's hand-painted with your chosen colour and inscription before undergoing a final glazing and second firing. This process takes up to 3 weeks, and you'll be contacted when your print is ready for collection— a beautiful keepsake!

Cast Baby Prints
Mandy rolls out clay, presses your print to create an impression, and then makes a cast. After a week of drying, it's hand-painted with gold accents on a cream or black background. Since inscriptions are not recommended on the cast itself, a separate label with your inscription, including birth details such as name, age, and weight, can be added when framing. Please note that framing is not included in the price, but I can recommend a local framer .To make an appointment, please contact the studio.
